International Literacy Day 2020

  Yesterday, September 8, marked International Literacy Day.by The United Nations Education Scientific & Cultural Organisation. This means that every year, September is declared Literacy month. It also means that our reading time should heighten this month.  And perhaps, you are not an avid reader like myself and all others who are addicted to books, it is still very possible to develop the culture of reading. Try reading for 10 minutes daily . It could be just reading the daily newspaper or just anything readable that you can google up quickly on your mobile device. If you can do this six days in a row, it becomes a habit. Then, you can grow your reading life from there.  Stick with materials that are simple and can grip your interest. And as you do this, you will find yourself wanting to explore more complex reading materials and books.
